DPF4Convert - Digital Process Factory® for Conversion Server Solutions
The Digital Process Factory® (DPF) from SEAL Systems is a development and long term environment for the design und control of tasks, to process information, data, files and documents.
The main functions of process-automating - creation, handling and administration - for process and distribution of information are very simply to realize with the DPF.
The essential functions for realization of conversion services were collected in according function packages for several administration systems (DMS, EDM/PLM). Thus enables the automatic conversion, e.g. during the status change in the administration system or time controlled.
All basic function packages already contain the essential components for
- the receipt of the file/structure, which have to be converted
- the control of single conversions
- the logging of all events
- the return of the conversion result to the administration system
- the format conversion for one input format (e.g. HPGL or PostScript) to one target format (e.g. TIFF/G4 or PDF)

The customer has to provide a license of the respective application for the application converter.
An actualisation of the document header with data from the administration system is available for most of the CAD application converters. Due to individual requirements, these extensions are offered seperately according to efforts.
