SEAL Systems output management can be connected to applications and programs via many interfaces and methods. The interfac LPD (line printer daemon) was completely revised.
GLPD is the name of the implementation from SEAL Systems. It is available for the document output management systems PLOSSYS netdome and gXnetplot.
Supported environments: UNIX, Windows, SAP
Supported formats: Text, PostScript, formated text (nroff, troff, fortran carriage control), special formats
Spool data are accepted with GLPD via the LPD interface. Text formats are prepared, other formats are forwarded to the output management system without change.
With the LPD integration every application can immediately print without any configuration and interface adaptions via output management systems from SEAL Systems.
Furthermore there are more integration methods for many applications and systems. With this a significant high number of functions is available: job ticket and header file, Windows driver, CAD integrations, PLM and DMS integration interfaces, SAP BC-XOM, interactive job order clients for many operating systems, web technology.
