The 3. International PDF/A Conference was a total success: almost 200 visitors from 13 countries read up of questions, developments and fields of applications of the standardized long term format PDF/A. Almost 50 conference lectures, workshops and keynotes were organized by the host PDF/A Competence Center.
Consulting and solutions from SEAL Sytems are used in many PDF/A projects. During the conference a basic lecture about PDF/A in the product life cycle was presented by specialist Dr. Uwe Wächter, a SEAL Systems agent.
Additionally the actual case studies and solutions of industrial practice were discussed – SEAL Systems worked in this three projects:
- PDF/A in PLM environment (Siemens I IA&DT) / Andreas Bergmann
- PDF/A in the product lifecycle and document management at SAFRAN / Jean-Marc Chevalier
- Meta data in neutral format data (Bosch) / Jan-Michael Rehn
