Cost reduction and job security

sBig main customer groups of SEAL Systems belong to industries, which are strongly affected by the actual economic developments: automotive, machinery and plant building as well as engineering and extractive industry. A plunge in capital expenditure is the consequence and this is also surely felt for a systems supplier like SEAL Systems.

Therefore the management and the staff association has decided to run a cost reduction program. The most important aim of the program SEAL Safe is the guarantee of secure jobs for all employees. The savings measure has an amount of more than 0.5 million Euro yearly. It contains a movement of the annual raise of salaries. Important investments like the implementation of a CRM solutions are still carried on as scheduled. The cost reduction program is supported by the operation "fortifier". This program means the usage of partially free capacities of the project organisation for internal processes and quality assurance. Additionally moved tasks, which were delayed due to overload in the past, are completed.

Head of finance, Angela Strauß: "The good earnig situation of the last years as well as a high equity ratio make us independant of external financing. We have accounted some scenarios and we even are able to compensate a worsening of the current situation without endangering of our long term aims."

kDirector of board, Josef M. Koch, has clear priorities: „SEAL Systems will compensate the effects of the crisis. For this it is very important to keep the employees and the know-how of the company. There will be no limitation of service and quality for the customers of SEAL Systems."
